KA-YO x Arc'Teryx

Music & sound design for a video by Phenomena (Josh Greet & Jack Gorham), showcasing a special Arc'teryx collection available at outdoor store KA-YO. The brief required something moody and stormy — the importance of which was fully grasped and felt, having been on set at the time of the shoot.

The audio is at once futuristic, meditative and esoteric. During the composition process, generative processing was used to create organic, ever-changing effects inspired by the entropy of weather patterns. Tones surge, break and resonate on top of a heady, mesmeric drone. Turbulent yet restrained, the piece crystallises the tempestuous, expansive and other-wordly nature of the filmed landscapes.
